Srinagar, June 9: As per the Meteorological Department data, winter capital Jammu on Wednesday recorded 42.7 degrees Celsius, making it the hottest day of this season so far. On Tuesday, Jammu had recorded 41.6 degrees Celsius.

MeT officials said that the maximum temperature will continue to increase in the winter capital for the next two days. However, the MeT has forecast a two-day wet spell from Saturday, which is likely to bring much needed respite to the people.
