Police today claimed to have seized 5 vehicles involved in illegal mining in Jammu District.
Police said that a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which dedicated police teams of Police Station Nagrota, Police Post Chatha, Police Post Phallain Mandal and Police Post Sidhra acted stringently on the specific inputs, raided at different locations in their respective areas and seized five different vehicles involved in illegal mining.
The mining was done in violation of order of High Court of J&K, said the police, in a statement.
