Srinagar, June 1:AnjumanNusrat-ul-Islam Tuesday expressed grief over the demise of Khursheed Ahmad Deen of Khanabal, Anantnag.
A statement of the Anjuman issued here said that Deen was the former chairman of Anjam-e-Nusrat-ul-Islam Trust, Anantnag and also served as chairman of the trust for a long period.
It said that the Anjuman paid rich tribute to Deen for his selfless educational and social contributions in the area.
The statement said that the Deen family of Khanabal not only had deep devotion with the Mirwaiz family but has also rendered immense sacrifices in promoting the mission of all the organisations associated with the institution of the Mirwaiz.
It said that the Anjuman expressed condolence with the Deen family especially the deceased’s brother ArshidHussainDeen, sons Tauseef Ahmad Deen, Ahmad Deen.
