Three soldiers, including an Army captain, were wounded in a militant attack at Hajin in Bandipora district Saturday, Police said.
A Police official said, "Militants hurled a grenade and fired upon an army patrol near Army Goodwill School Hajin this afternoon. Three army men of 13 RR were wounded in the attack." "The injured Army soldiers were rushed to a hospital where their condition is stated to be stable," the official added.
He identified the wounded as Captain Parveen, sepoy Brijesh Lal Bahadur and sepoy Ramesh Kumar.
Soon after the attack entire area was cordoned off and search was launched to trace the militants, the police official added.
