Srinagar, June 13: While ‘Corona curfew’ continued across Kashmir on Sunday, police claimed to have booked over five thousand violators.

The streets wore a deserted look and shops and business establishments remained closed across Kashmir. As per SOPs authorities are allowing trade activities on rotational basis between Mondays and Thursdays in Kashmir, where the number of COVID positive cases has witnessed a significant decline for last three weeks.

Meanwhile, police said that during last 24 hours, it arrested 26 persons, lodged seven FIRs and realized fine of Rs 11,18,100 from 5943 persons throughout Kashmir for violating various guidelines, rules and SOPs regarding Covid-19. “Besides, 14 vehicles were also seized for violating Covid norms in Shopian.”
