The governor's administration Wednesday appointed Dheeraj Gupta as principal secretary to the government, housing and urban development department.
An order issued by the general administration department read: "In the interest of administration, Dheeraj Gupta, IAS (JK:1993), principal resident commissioner, J&K government, New Delhi, is transferred and posted as principal secretary to the government, housing and urban development department on the retirement on superannuation of K B Agarwal, IAS, financial commissioner, housing and urban development department on 31.01.2019 (AN)".
Gupta, the order said, will also hold the charge of principal resident commissioner, J&K government, New Delhi, until further orders.
