While interacting with people getting displaced on account of acquisition of their properties for the project, the Minister assured them that the Government will "ensure that they are adequately rehabilitated."

The Minister later inspected the Toll Plaza at Lower Munda Qazigund and directed the officers to ensure that the toll collection is done in a manner where pilferage, if any is checked.
