Srinagar, June 26: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar on Saturday greeted people on the annual Urs observance of HazratNassar-Din (RA) popularly known as Naseeb-Ud-din Gazi (RA) of Bejbehara, Anantnag.
According to a statement issued here, Sagar also impressed upon the administration to ensure all public services and basic civic amenities to devotees on the forthcoming Urs observance of Hazrat Syed Mohammad Amin MantaqiBayhaqiOwaisi (RA) in AaliKadal, Srinagar as well.
Sagar said that it was due to the unrelenting efforts of such great men as Hazrat Baba Naseeb-Ud-Din Gazi (RA) and Hazrat Syed Mohammad Amin Mantaqi (RA) that the people of Kashmir got acquainted with the teachings of Islam. “The relentless services of these revered Saints in the field of Islamic learning, Tasawuf, socio-political emancipation of the downtrodden in Kashmir is immense. Urs are part and parcel of our cultural life, therefore it is imperative for the incumbent divisional administration to ensure that people observe such observances in a hassle free manner,” he said.
Among others Party’s MP from AnantnagHassnainMasoodi, South President Bashir Ahmed Veeri and others also greeted the people.
