Bank branch in Sopore closed after 2 employees test positive

Sopore: The authorities on Wednesday ordered for closure of Jammu and Kashmir Bank’s main branch in north Kashmir’s Sopore town after two of its staff members tested positive for COVID-19.

An official said that the branch has been closed as a precautionary measure after two employees of the bank branch were tested COVID-19 positive.

   

He said that all the primary and secondary contacts of the affected employees have been advised to self-Isolate and get tested for COVID-19.

It is pertinent to mention that authorities have declared many areas as containment zones in the town since last ten days which includes Alsafa colony, Watlab sangri, Jalal abad ‘A’ and Bramun Mohalla Rohama Rafiabad.
