Baramulla: Following inputs about the presence of militants in Hyderbeigh Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, the security forces and police launched a cordon and search operation in the area on Monday afternoon.
The search operation continued for several hours during which all the entry and exit routes to the area were closed. The operation was later called off as the area was found safe, police said.
