Shopian: Security forces on Sunday conducted cordon and search operations in two villages of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
A police official said that columns of Army, CRPF and Police laid a siege around Pudsoo and Ringward Kellar villages of the district and conducted search operations.
“The operations were launched after the forces received inputs about the presence of militants in these area”, said the official. Both the operations concluded peacefully as no militant was found hiding in these villages.
