Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir High Court has granted compensation of Rs 2.50 lakh each to the next of kin of two lawyers who died of Covid.
According to an order issued by Registrar (Admin), Muhammad Yasin Beigh, sanction has been accorded to the financial assistance in favour of the wife of deceased advocate Muhammad Ismail Malla and wife of deceased Advocate Nazir Ahmad Shora.
The families of the deceased would be paid the financial assistance from Advocates’ Welfare Fund maintained by the Principal District Judge Srinagar.
