Budgam: Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha halted his speech for Azaan at Beerwah on Saturday.
The LG stopped his speech when his security guard pointed out that Azaan from a nearby Masjid was being heard. Azaan is the Islamic announcement or call to prayer in a Masjid recited by a Muezzin before the start of each prayer, five times a day.
