HC to close for summer vacation from June 7

Srinagar, May 31: Jammu and Kashmir High Court will remain closed for summer vacation from June 7 to 25.

According to a notification issued by the Registrar General of the High Court, the period commencing from 7th to 12th day of June shall be “no work period for the High Court”.

   

Meanwhile, the Chief Justice has nominated two judges as “vacation Judges” for both the wings of the High Court for hearing the urgent cases during the vacation.

For the Srinagar wing, Justice Sanjeev Kumar will hear the cases from 14th to 18th June while Justice Vinod Chatterji Koul will hear the cases from 21st to 24 June.

In the Jammu wing, Justice Javid Iqbal Wani will hear the cases from 14 to 18th June while Justice Sanjay Dhar will hear the cases from 21st to 24 June.
