Jammu: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha acknowledged a Jammu resident for his suggestion related to the establishment of a Governance System for Complaint Management on a single platform.

An official spokesman in a statement issued here said that LG Sinha, in this month’s episode of ‘Awaam Ki Awaaz’ radio programme, voiced valuable insights and suggestions received from the people.

During the programme, broadcast on all local and primary channels of All India Radio (AIR) and telecast on DD Kashir channel, the LG connected with the people and dedicated this month’s episode to all those citizens who were working for the betterment of society, and emerged as role models for others.

In his address, the LG made a special mention of the suggestions received from software engineer Sachin Padha of Jammu regarding the strengthening of the complaint management system to improve governance in J&K.

Padha said that it was a very proud moment for him that the LG mentioned his name in the programme.

“I am thankful to the LG that he made special mention of my suggestions during the programme and took it as feedback,” he said.

Padha said that there should be a single platform for complaint management for better governance. “One single system should be established with a dedicated department which can route the complaints received to different departments for effective redress,” he said.

Appreciating the ‘Awaam Ki Awaaz’ programme of LG’s administration, Padha said that it was a unique initiative started by LG Sinha through which a common citizen could raise his or her grievance directly with the LG.
