Rail traffic to Jammu to remain disrupted from Dec 22 to 26

Jammu: Rail traffic to Jammu would remain disrupted from December 22 to 26 due to non-interlocking work presently in progress in the Ambala-Ludhiana rail section.

Railway officials said that a few trains had been cancelled while the route of a few other trains has been diverted.

Jammu Mail would remain cancelled on December 23, 24 while Maurya Express leaving from Jammu has also been cancelled on December 24 and 26.

Uttar Sampark Kranti coming from Delhi to Katra would be flagged from Chandigarh-Sahnewal on December 23.

Katra-bound Malwa Express would also be flagged from Chandigarh-Sahnewal on December 22 and 23. Begumpura Express from Jammu will remain diverted to Chandigarh on December 23 and 24.

Train from Udhampur to Sarai Rohilla in Delhi would ply on the Chandigarh-Sahnewal route on December 23.

The route of Jammu to Tirupati, Jammu to Howrah trains too would remain diverted on December 24.

The route of Malwa Express leaving from Katra would remain diverted on December 23 and 24.

Similarly, the route of the train from Jammu to Ajmer, Rajdhani Express from Delhi to Jammu, and Shree Shakti Express from New Delhi to Jammu-Katra would remain diverted on December 24.
