JKPCC expresses anguish over Noorbagh fire incident

Srinagar, June 13: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Sunday expressed their anguish over the Noorbagh Baramulla fire incident.

In a joint statement, JKPCC President Ghulam Ahmad Mir and Party Vice President Haji Ab. Rashid Dar while expressing their sorrow ‘urged the LG administration to take early effective measures to rehabilitate fire sufferers.’

“All of our sympathies are with the fire sufferers, Mir, Haji added and urged the administration to provide full compensation to victims, as that will enable them to rebuild their houses,” the statement reads. Baramulla District Congress President Fayaz Ahmad Mir and other leaders have also expressed anguish over the losses caused to inhabitants of the Colony at Noorbagh due to the blaze and urged the administration to assess the losses for adequate compensation to fire victims, the statement reads.
