JKPCC leaders hold talks on proposed all party meeting

Jammu, June 20: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress committee President Shri G A Mir today held consultations with the Senior leaders of the party here today regarding the proposed all party meeting called by the centre on 24th June.

According to a statement issued here, the deliberations took more than two hours and would further continue with other senior leaders too including from Kashmir in next two days too, before taking final view with regard to participation in the scheduled meeting.

The senior Congress leaders have given their input about the sentiments and aspirations of the people, which need to be conveyed to the centre firmly, especially the restoration of full statehood with adequate constitutional safeguards.

“JKPCC Leaders present in the meeting include Mula Ram, Raman Bhalla, KantaBhan, Ravinder Sharma, Balwan Singh, YogeshSawhney, Abdul Majid Wani, T S Bajwa, Shah Mohammad Chowdhury, Manmohan Singh, Ashok Sharma, ThBalbir Singh, Ved Mahajan and Adv K KPangotra. The process of consultations with in the party at various levels shall be carried forward in next two days on various aspects,” the statement reads.
