‘30 lost mobile phones handed over to owners in Poonch’

Poonch: Thirty lost mobile phones worth lakhs of rupees were traced and handed to their owners in Poonch district, Police said Monday.

These phones were handed over during an event organised in Poonch.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vinod Kumar, Additional Superintendent of Police Liyaqit Ali, Deputy SP PC Munish Sharma were present at the event.

Police said that people often loose their phones and file complaints after which a special Police squad starts surveillance and recovers most of these lost devices.

Police said that 76 such lost mobile phones had been recovered and returned to their owners in year 2021 while 115 in the past year and a half.
