Srinagar: Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari Monday approved the appointments of office-bearers of Apni Party Women’s Wing for south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

A statement of the Apni Party issued here said that the appointments were made after being recommended by Apni Party District President Pulwama Ghulam Muhammad Mir, announced by Apni Party Provincial President, Kashmir Muhammad Ashraf Mir after being approved by Apni Party President Altaf Bukhari.

Meanwhile, Apni Party Provisional President, Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Mir said that the government’s promises of providing employment had remained confined to announcements.

A separate statement of Apni Party issued here said that interacting with youth at Nishat, Mir said, “The promises made by the successive governments for generating employment opportunities in the Kashmir division, both in public and private sectors, have remained confined to mere announcements. As the authorities fail to provide appropriate platforms to our talented and educated youth, they are being consumed by social vices. The government holds a moral incumbency to generate employment opportunities but it is acting oblivious to their genuine demands. If Apni Party comes to power, it will ensure that youth are not deprived and they are given ample opportunities to work in the fields they have aspired for.”

He said that people, especially youth, had apprised him about a myriad of problems currently faced by them due to which a major section of youngsters was engulfed in a feeling of utter dejection and alienation.

Mir said that Apni Party had rigorously raised the tangible issues that affect the lives of the people without resorting to emotional blackmails and hollow sloganeering that have been blatantly used for decades to deceive the people of J&K.
