Srinagar: Baramulla Battalion of Army, conducted a Medical and Health Awareness Camp for the locals today at Khadniyar, Baramulla.

In a statement, Col Emron Musavi, PRO (Defence) Srinagar said the camp provided free medical check up and medicines to locals followed by a lecture and an interactive session on safeguarding against cold related injuries and protective measures.

The event witnessed a huge response from villagers, with more than 160 people, including men, women and children seeking medical care.

A lecture on the new Omicron strain of Covid-19 and personal protective measures to prevent its spread and symptoms to identify an infection was also conducted, he added.
