Technology indeed is not limited to people belonging to the technological background but to the entire society.”

He reiterated that the youth of the country are the ones who will drive the future by innovation and this festival will provide them a platform to build that future. Prof Farooq Shah asked participants to constantly pursue their ideas, no matter how difficult it might seem to take it forward as it is persistence that leads to logical outcome.

Registrar, Prof M Afzal Zargar congratulated the Department for organising such an event which attracted students across the varsity. He asked the organisers to ensure that innovative ideas that will shape the future are identified and pursued further.

He focused on the importance of innovation as enshrined in the National Innovation and Start up Policy (NISP) and the role youth has to play in it. Prof Zargar asked the organisers to take up at least five best ideas to the innovation club so that the University can further help the students to groom and polish such ideas and to create a culture where youth focus on Start-Ups, helping the economy to thrive.
