Jammu: Director General of Police Dilbag Singh Thursday greeted the people of Jammu and Kashmir, Police and security forces, and their families besides the families of slain policemen on the occasion of the birthday of Guru Nanak Dev being celebrated on Friday.
A statement of J&K Police issued here said that the DGP expressed hope that this auspicious occasion would usher Jammu and Kashmir towards peace, progress and strengthen the bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood.
The DGP prayed for the well-being and prosperity of the people of J&K and appealed to people to follow the Covid Appropriate Behaviour and related protocols while celebrating the festival.
