Srinagar: “Parwaaz”, the first of its kind Talent Hunt Cum Scholarship test by Greater Kashmir, MISSION e and Red FM is getting an overwhelming response. Hundred of students from every nook and corner of the Kashmir have registered for the test and the registration is going on with an amazing pace and this initiative is being widely lauded.

A press note said, “Greater Kashmir, MISSION e and Red FM’s talent hunt Initiative is aimed at helping students to excel in competitive examination. In today’s competitive era , facing a competitive examinations is inevitable and a crucial step in pursuing a career or an academic goal but for a vast majority of meritorious students financial constraints coupled with a lack of proper guidance and mentorship not only dampen the enthusiasm of our students but also act as insurmountable impediments to their academic progress due to which academics dreams of many students are shattered.”

It added that keeping in view the challenges faced by “our students to achieve their dreams of cracking various medical and engineering entrance examinations, Greater Kashmir and valley’s reputed coaching institute , MISSION e with an endeavour to identify and mentor aspiring meritorious students, are going to organize a valley wide first of its kind talent hunt cum scholarship test titled-Parwaaz.”

“This examination meant to encourage meritorious students in the age group of 16-19 irrespective of their economic background will test the cognitive and analytical skills of the students. The papers for the test have been innovatively designed by a qualified team of our experts with strict adherence to the standard norms of the various competitive state and national competitive examinations. Besides scholarships and cash awards, the novel talent hunt will not only help students realize their innate potential but also instil in them competitive spirit and skills and also boost their competitive competence and confidence these examination demand,”the press note said.

The students who secure first, second and third position in the examination will be awarded cash prizes of Rs 1.5 lakh, Rs one lakh and Rs 50,000 by Greater Kashmir. “Besides cash awards , our institute which has achieved the distinction of imparting quality education and mentorship and also having hundreds of selections in reputed medical and engineering colleges despite being a merely a two years older institute will be offering students scholarships worth Rs 20 lakh to the meritorious students across valley.
