JKBD member thanks LG for recognising their social work
Srinagar: RaghavVaid, a member of Jammu Kashmir Blood Donors (JKBD), a social organisation Sunday thanked Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for appreciating their work through monthly radio talk show ‘AwaamkiAwaaz’, and recognising their efforts and social work during the tough times of Covid-19.
Recently, LG Sinha dedicated the monthly radio talk show to corona warriors at the forefront in the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, and appreciated their efforts in the current situation while putting their own lives at risk.
During the programme, the LG had shared some of the inspiring stories of Covid warriors and responsible citizens, saluted their spirit and commended them for their dedication towards human service in these tough times.
Vaid said that it was highly encouraging and inspiring to see that LG Sinha mentioned their organisation in the radio talk show AwaamkiAwaaz and appreciated their social work in the ongoing Covid-19.
“I am highly grateful to LG Sinha for appreciating the efforts of JKBD and mentioning the same in AwaamkiAwaaz,” he said.
Vaid said that when the administration appreciates and recognises the efforts of individuals or organisations, more people get motivated for social work. “When LG himself appreciates and recognises the work of good samaritans, more people are motivated to do good work,” he said
