Srinagar: Bharatiya Janata Party (Organisation) J&K’s General Secretary Ashok Koul Saturday lauded the role of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the development of Jammu and Kashmir.
A statement of BJP issued here quoted Koul as saying that their party was committed to the development in Kashmir and over the past seven years, the BJP government had reached every home in the country.
The statement said that BJP leader Surinder Ambardar criticised the politicians who had exploited poor people of Jammu and Kashmir in the past.
He said that the idea of a new J&K had a core focus that PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah were anchoring with a vision of making J&K the most desired, peaceful and prosperous destination in the next decade.
He said that the abrogation of Article 370 and Article 35-A had given a new shape to old Kashmir and converted it into a ‘Naya Kashmir’.
