Srinagar: The mother-in-law of Riyaz Malik, Online Editor of Kashmir Uzma, passed away on Saturday after a prolonged illness.
The deceased breathed her last at SKIMS Soura.
She was laid to rest at her ancestral graveyard at Batapora, Tangmarg.
Greater Kashmir and Kashmir Uzma staffers have condoled the demise and prayed for granting forbearance to the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, Anjuman Urdu Sahafat and the Kashmiri media fraternity expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
The family members of the deceased said that her Rasm-e-Chahrum would be observed on Monday.
