Pledge taking ceremonies, rallies across Kashmir

Srinagar: National Integration Day was today observed across Kashmir valley to celebrate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Pledge taking ceremonies were held at all the district headquarters where the respective District Development Commissioners (DDCs) administered the oath among the district and sectoral officers and took pledge to dedicate themselves and their services to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation and to strive hard to spread this message among the fellow countrymen.

A pledge taking ceremony was held in Mini Secretariat Ganderbal, wherein Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba administered oath among participants. At Pulwama a function was today held at DC Office a from where a motorcycle rally was flagged off by Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama Baseer Ul Haq Chowdhary which culminated at Pinglena

Department of Youth Services and Sports organised a bike rally in Anantnag . The rally was taken out by employees of YSS Anantnag from Sarnal to Mattan. Similar celebrations were also held at Bijbehara where a cycle rally was held by the students from Subhanpura to Shamsipora.

A pledge ceremony was held at Mini Secretariat Arhama in Shopian.Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmed Simnani presided over.

At Kulgam a pledge taking ceremony was held in the lawns of Mini Secretariat, wherein Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, DrBilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat administered oath among officers and all the participants .

At Kupwara the Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din was the chief guest at the event organised in this regard by Youth Services and Sports Department and District Administration jointly.

At Bandipora Additional Deputy Commissioner, Zahoor Ahmad Mir administered oath to the officers at Conference Hall Mini Secretariat that was attended by all the district Officers and officials.
