Anantnag: A policeman was injured on Thursday after militants attacked a police party in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A police official said that at around 8:50 pm, militants fired a few pistol shots towards a police party in Lazibal locality of Anantnag town.
“In the incident, a policeman sustained minor injury. He was shifted to hospital where his condition is stable,” he said.
Soon after the attack the area was cordoned off and massive searches were launched to nab the attacker.
