Mehbooba, Farooq, Omar grieved over Kulgam killings

Former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti, National Conference president Farooq Abdullah and party vice-president Omar Abdullah have expressed anguish and grief over killing of three civilians in firing by army in Kulgam on Saturday.

Former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti, National Conference president Farooq Abdullah and party vice-president Omar Abdullah have expressed anguish and grief over killing of three civilians in firing by army in Kulgam on Saturday. 

"It is unfortunate for the state that human blood is being spilt. The need is to put an end to it," Mehbooba said in a statement, expressing sympathies with the bereaved families.

Expressing solidarity with the families, Abudllah and Omar prayed for peace to the departed souls. The party state secretary SakinaIttoo, zonal president for south Kashmir Bashir Ahmed Veeri, district president Kulgam Abdul MajeedBhat (Larmi) and provincial spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar have also expressed grief over the killing of civilians.
