Residents of Natipora area here have expressed resentment over failure of SMC to lift garbage from the area.
"We face hardships in disposing domestic and commercial wastes. Not a single dustbin has been installed anywhere in the area or sweepers. In absence of facilities, the waste is dumped into open plots and near main entrances.
The area has become a home to flies and other insects. This poses serious threat to locals," a delegation from the area said urging the SMC commissioner to look into the matter.
