Ramban, June 2: The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway remained closed for traffic today owing to weekly repairs.
The contractor companies engaged by NHAI carried out repairs between Nashri and Banihal here, officials said.
Manager of a contractor company said that the NHAI has shifted focus towards most vulnerable Nashri Banihal stretch for its repair.
Meanwhile, the authorities concerned said that the traffic on the highway shall resume on Thursday morning.
