Ramban, June 25:Banihal police arrested a man along with a huge quantity of banned drugs during a routine Naka checking at T- ChowckBanihal Friday afternoon.
As per police during routine checking at T-chowkBanihal a pedestrian carrying two bags on seeing police party tried to flee from the spot however he was chased police party during search of bags huge quaintly of banned drugs 470 tablets of alprazolam, 450 tablets of tramadol, 4080 capsules of spasmoproxyvon. 7 bottles of cough syrups recovered from his possession.
Police said Amir Fayaz Pandit son of Fayaz Ahmed resident of Kachgari Masjid Fateh Kadal Srinagar arrested on spot. A case FIR number 130 under relevant sections of NDPS act registered against Amir at Police Station Banihal for further investigations.
