Srinagar June 20: Two days after he was shifted to Jammu jail, PDP youth President Waheed Para was shifted back to Srinagar jail today.

Para is facing detention under UAPA in a case alleging nexus between unnamed politicians and militant outfits in Kashmir.

“He is being brought back and is on way,” a senior Central Jail Srinagar official told Greater Kashmir Sunday evening. “Hopefully tonight he will reach.”

Para was shifted to Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu from central jail Srinagar on Friday morning.

Parra was detained in November last year, three days after he had filed his nomination papers for the District Development Council (DDC) elections, by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in connection with a case against former J-K police officer Davinder Singh.
