Srinagar, June 10: The State Council of Education Research and Training (SCERT) has constituted committees to have a quality check and to ensure the study material developed for students meets the requisite standard.

The committees constituted at different levels have been entrusted to monitor the content uploaded by teachers for students who are connected through different digital platforms.

As per the circular instructions issued by the joint director SCERT, the concerned Zonal Resource Persons (ZRPs) and Cluster Resource Persons (CRP) will monitor the content shared by the teachers on a daily basis.

"The content will be cross checked by the DIET faculty and DRGs," the circular reads.

It further states that ZRPs and CRPs will ensure that the supplementary material prepared and uploaded by the teachers are in consonance with the requisite standards.

"The ZRP and CRP will conduct online meetings with the teachers and will provide necessary support to the teachers regarding their academic requirements," it reads.

Notably, the government has closed all the educational institutions for physical classes and has asked the school education department to switch to online mode of education. "The RPs shall make a record of the material checked and the meetings conducted with the teachers shall submit the report to concerned DRGs on weekly basis," it reads.

As per the circular instructions issued, the DRGs will monitor the schools of their allotted zones and peruse the reports submitted by the ZRPs and CRPs.

"They will also plan immediate guidance and support to the teachers," the department circular reads.

The resource persons have been asked to submit a comprehensive report to the concerned Principal DIET on every Monday..

Also, as per the circular, the DIET Principals will assign one Zone per DIET faculty member to support the ZRPs and CRPs of the allotted Zone.

"The DIET faculty shall monitor the content on the LMS of the schools of thee allotted zones on sample basis and follow the reports of DRGs regarding the content on EMS," it reads.

The joint director SCERT has further issued instructions to DIET authorities to hold thorough analysis of the reports.

"They will also suggest the steps required for the effective teaching learning for the teachers," the circular reads.

The Principal DIET will submit a comprehensive report to the Joint Director, SCERT and Director School Education Kashmir after every 15 days, the circular reads.

"The LMS team at the DSEK shall provide user IDs to the DIET Faculty, DRGs and RPs and will conduct a technical sessions for the RP," the circular reads.

The joint director SCERT has further warned of strict action, if the guidelines are not implemented in letter and spirit.

"The guidelines should be adhered to in letter and spirit. Any laxity there of shall be viewed seriously," the SCERT circular reads.
