Srinagar, July 4: The BCCI appointed Sub-Committee for J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) on Sunday held meetings with clubs and district associations in Jammu.
As part of the process to bring the JKCA back on track the sub-committee comprising Brig. Anil Gupta, Advocate Sunil Sethi and MithunManhas have started interaction with the clubs and district units.
"Two separate meetings were held on Sunday at JKCA Jammu office – one with National Cricket Club Jammu and the other with District Cricket Association Jammu,” the JKCA said in a statement. While NCC was represented by its president DrAshutosh Sharma, District Jammu Association was led by its president Vinod Kumar Sharma.
The meetings were held in a cordial atmosphere wherein views and suggestions of both bodies were heard in accordance with the court directions, the statement said, adding that the way forward for resumption of cricket was also discussed.
