Srinagar: The open Kashmir rope skipping championship organised by the Rope Skipping Association of J&K was held at Government Higher Secondary School, Nowhatta, here on Monday.

Former Physical Director Islamia College Dr Altaf ur Rehman was the chief guest on the occasion while as staff members of GGHSS Nowhatta Shugufta, Abdul Rashid, Kousar Jabeen, Vice President (RSAJK) Ahmad Rauf and Secretary (RSAJK) Mukhtar Bhat were among other guests present.

On the occasion, the chief guest congratulated all medal winners and participants. He also appreciated the organizers for organizing such a wonderful event for the first time in the Kashmir valley.

The medal winners of the event are scheduled to represent J&K in IRSF National Championship scheduled to be held at Nainital Uttarakhand.
