Srinagar: Sports Council Football Academy (FA) emerged as the winner of NIFF Youth Football League 2021 which was played at Synthetic Turf Football Stadium TRC Srinagar.
The last match of the League was played between J&K Bank Academy and Sports Council Football Academy that ended at 1-1 draw scoreline, but the League title was taken away by Sports Council on the basis of points table.
42 matches were played in the league in which 24 academies hailing from Kashmir Division competed against each. The League was sponsored by New JK Roadways who not only sponsored the event but also awarded players with handsome cash awards on every match and closing ceremony.
Secretary Tourism , Sarmad Hafeez, was the chief guest on the occasion. Secretary Sports Council Nuzhat Gull, Joint Secretary Sports Council Bashir Ahmed, Maqbool Lone Owner New JK Roadways Divisional Sports Officer JKSC Nuzhat Ara were also present at the occasion.
The gala prize distribution ceremony took place soon after the match awards were given to Media Fraternity, Medical Personals, Sports Organizers besides players and officials by the guests.
Pertinently, NIFF is all set to organize the same League at Jammu from 26th December 2021.
