Srinagar: Mumbai ended the second day in a dominant position after reducing J&K to 110 with seven wickets down in the first inning in the match of Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy tournament at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA VDCA Cricket Stadium, Vizag on Tuesday.
After declaring its first inning on the score of 555 run total for the loss of nine wickets, Mumbai bowlers reduced J&K to 110 for the loss of seven wickets at the end of second day's play. J&K still trail Mumbai by 445 runs in the first inning with only three wickets in hand.
Earlier starting the second day's play from 365 for the loss of six wickets, Mumbai declared on 555 with nine wickets down.
Overnight unbeaten batsman Ayaz Khan who was batting on 148 went on to complete his double ton. He got out after scoring 205 runs. Hemanshu remained unbeaten on 52 while Arjun Dani and Musheer Khan scored 73 and 75 runs respectively. For J&K, skipper Mohammad Manzir took five wickets haul while Manit took two.
In reply, J&K at the end of second day's play was seven wickets down on the score of 110 runs. Shivansh Sharma was batting on 19 while Abid Hussain had contributed 26. For Mumbai, Amanullah Manihar took four wickets while as Suryansh Shegdhe two.
J&K trail Mumbai by 445 runs in the first inning.
