Ramban: Three persons including two women were injured in an accident at Chanderkote on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway on Wednesday.
Police said a rashly driven cab (JK05E 2674) heading to Srinagar had a head-on collision with a car (JK05D 0374) Kunfer Chanderkote, resulting in injuries to three persons.
The injured were shifted to District Hospital Ramban for treatment.
Police identified the injured as Suraj Singh, 23, son of Randhir Singh of Ludhiana, Zubeeda Begum, 40, wife of Muneer Hussain of Uri, Baramulla, and Shereena Begum, 39, wife of Bilal Ahmed of Rainawari, Srinagar.
Police registered a case under FIR No 155 under Sections 279 and 337 of the Indian Penal Code at Police Station Chanderkote.
