Darhal: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K President Ravinder Raina Sunday said National Conference (NC), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Congress failed to address the issues of common masses for decades together.
Addressing a rally at Dharal in Rajouri, Raina said that parties like NC, PDP, and Congress had utterly failed in addressing the issues of the people who had now decided that BJP would form the next government in J&K.
Raina said that the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi had proved its credentials by working for the people living in the remotest of areas and most neglected communities.
“Modi government has ensured that the benefits of those schemes meet their goal to uplift the masses going by the principles of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas and Sabka Vishwaas,’” he said.
Raina said that Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Jan-Dhan Yojna, PM Fasal Beema Yojna, Atal Pension Yojna, Mudra Bank, Beti Bachao Beti Padao, Sukanya Smridhi Yojna, PM Ujawala Project, PM Awaas Yojna, Make in India, Digital India, Start Up-Stand Up India, and Udaan Scheme were some of the pioneering projects and schemes that had been launched by Modi government and their party activists should educate the masses about them and help them in getting benefits.
J&K BJP General Secretary Vibodh Gupta thanked the gathering for participating in the rally.
He said that the participation of all the sections and regions in this rally proved that the people had accepted the party with their hearts and were satisfied with the governance of the Modi-led government.
BJP’s Executive Member J&K Devender Singh Rana also addressed the rally.
