Srinagar: On the International Anti-Corruption Day, Commissioner Secretary, General Administration Department (GAD), Manoj Kumar Dwivedi Thursday launched a new Database Management Systems Software at the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Headquarters.
A statement of ACB issued here said that he inaugurated the newly upgraded database of the ACB in presence of Director Anti Corruption Bureau Anand Jain, Special Secretary, (Vigilance) GAD Shabir Hussain Bhat, and other officials of the ACB.
It said that the database of all the government employees against whom any vigilance matter was pending was maintained for reference and record.
The statement said that based on the database, the ACB processes the No Objection Certificate (NOC) requests in favour of the employees as and when required.
It said that the new database would ease the issuance of NOC of the employees in a fast manner.
It said that the Vigilance Clearance System had been made online and the departments and the employees had benefited to a large extent.
The ACB statement said that the new database software would further enhance the vigilance clearance system of the ACB.
It said that speaking on the occasion, Dwivedi said that the technological initiatives like the implementation of e-Office, online Vigilance Clearance System, and new Database Management System would help in faster disposal of the issues pending at the level of ACB and GAD.
