Authorities at Kashmir University have come under criticism for delaying admission to integrated Ph.D program in management for past eight months.

A group of students said result for post graduation degree was declared in June 2017, but till date the varsity hasn't started process for admission for the doctorate course.

The students said delay tactics of the KU authorities has cost them a year now. "We applied for admission to this program in response to notification (No:F (JRF-Admission-IPhD) Res/KU/18) in February this year.

Later, we applied for second time in response to a separate notification on 31 May 2018. But till date the university has not completed admission process," the aggrieved candidates said. They said most of the candidates have qualified their NET and JRF but were yet to get admission in Ph.D.

"We appeal to the Governor to issue directions to authorities in University to expedite the admission process in order to save our time," the students said.
