Jammu, June 12: BJP leader Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo today said that sufferance in J&K due to various reasons deserves top attention and mitigation.
According to a statement issued here, Chrungoo, Incharge Department of political affairs and feedback, J&K-BJP while interacting with KP youth on virtual mode termed Covid19 as the most fatal blow to the society over the last one and a half year.
“Among the 5,000 tragic deaths of the people belonging to J&K due to Covid19, 1,000 members of the KP community succumbed to the dreaded decease. The living conditions of families have also impacted the situation,” said the KP leader.
“On the occasion, he announced that it was for the information of the concerned that the project “Help Health” has been revived. It will specifically serve the purpose of health in respect of the volunteers of the society who are engaged in the noble cause of humanitarian work over the last a couple of months @COVID19 situation in Jammu city including Jagti camp tenement,” the statement reads.
A 9-member core-committee of young members will function as the Working Group. Chrungoo, is the Chairman of the Help Health project.
