17.8 per cent votes polled till 11 am in Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar records five percent voting

Nearly eighteen percent votes were polled till 11 am in Udhampur and Srinagar parliamentary seats of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Thursday.

While the Udhampur seat recorded 26.28 per cent polling, theSrinagar-Budgam parliamentary seat recorded 5.0 per cent polling till 11 am.

   

Following district wise figures were provided by theofficials: Reasi 28.8 percent; Kathua 28.5 percent; Udhampur 28.7 percent;Ramban 19.5 percent; Doda 28.6 percent; Kishtwar 23.6 percent; Budgam 6.4percent; Ganderbal 6.5 percent; and Srinagar 2.3 percent.

Twelve candidates are in fray for the Srinagar-Budgamparliamentary constituency seat.
