Police on Sunday said that body of an army porter was spotted and recovered from forests of Jabla village in Uri district on Sunday.
The slain porter has been identified as Abdul Hamid Awan, 30, resident of Dardkote, Uri. The slain person, according to police, was working with a local army unit. The immediate cause of death has not been established yet, however investigation has been started to ascertain the cause of death.
