In the ongoing Bijbehara 50-over cricket tournament, Evergreen Cricket Club Srinagar defeated Kaapran Cricket Club Shopian by 120 runs at Higher Secondary School Bijbehara on Tuesday.
Batting first, Evergreen Club Srinagar were all out for 195 runs. Shujat with 44 was the highest scorer for Evergreen Club, while as Ather and Naveed scored 29 and 25 runs respectively. Sharik took four wickets for Kaapran while as Muzaffar Wani took 2.
In reply, Kaapran Club got bundled out for 75 runs in the 17th over. Liyaqat Gani took five wickets for Evergreen Club Srinagar, while as Sahil took four.
Liyaqat Gani for his five wicket haul was adjudged as man of the match. The tournament is being organized by Bijbehara cricket Association.
