Civilian, 3 CRPF men wounded in Sopore grenade attack

A civilian and three CRPF men were wounded when a grenade thrown by a militant at the paramilitary forces in the man bazaar of Sangrama near Sopore exploded on Tuesday morning.

The three CRPF men and the civilian wounded by the flying splinters were taken to the hospital for the treatment. The injured were identified as Raday sham, Dharam das tiwari and Shakeel Ahmad of 177 battalion and a civilian were identified as Hilal Ahmad khanday son of Abdul Qayoom of sopore. 

   

While confirming the incident SSP Sopore Javid Iqbal told that militants attacked CRPF party at Sangrama chowk in which three CRPF men and a civilian suffered splinter injuries. Lashkar-e-Toiba claimed responsibility for the attack on government forces.
