Security forces on Saturday launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Aripal locality of Tral township in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A police source said that CASO was launched by a joint partyof the police, army and the CRPF in Aripal on Saturday morning.
He said that the operation was launched following inputsabout the presence of militants in the area.
The door-to-door searches were going on when last reportscame in.
