The J&K government Tuesday ordered that one month additional salary of employees who were deployed for Municipal/ Panchayat elections should be paid by April 25.
On December 20 last year,the government had directed all the drawing and disbursing and officers to drawthe one month salary/wages/remuneration in respect of employees who performedelection related duty in Municipal/ Panchayat Elections.
Despite these instructions,the claims of employees were not settled by the concerned DDOs which has beenviewed seriously by government.
